Workforce Edge has several types of request forms used to help you navigate each step in the tuition benefits funding process. The eligibility request is the first type of request you will submit when you want to utilize tuition benefits from your employer. This allows you to submit your degree program(s) of interest for pre-approval and let you know if your degree program will be covered by your employer's education benefits policy.
To submit a request, log in to your Workforce Edge account, and:
In your dashboard under tuition assistance, click on browse programs
Use the menu to the left to filter your desired program choices
Programs matching your filters will show to the right
View programs and choose a program that best fits your needs
Click on check eligibility for the program of your choice
Enter comments in notes and comments box
Next, accept the educational benefits policy by checking the box
Select the accept policy or deny policy option
Select submit
Note: you may submit more than one eligibility request if you are evaluating more than one school or program.
Already enrolled with a school
If you are already enrolled in a program, you will submit an eligibility request that includes your degree program so that you can verify you and your degree qualify for education benefits. To submit a request:
Search in-network degree programs from our partners in the search programs area
If you do not find your degree there, use the "out of network program" link at the top of the page to manually enter your school and program details
Submit the eligibility request in Workforce Edge so that your HR administrator can review and indicate if you and your degree program are eligible for tuition benefits
Once your degree program is approved, you will be able to submit funding requests associated with this approved program. See article on funding requests for more information.
βNote: any degree program approved in your eligibility request may or may not be approved for funding or final payment. Refer to your tuition benefits policy to understand the grade and other requirements you need to meet to maintain eligibility status and receive full funding amounts requested.
